I found inspiration for this poster in the origami technique, where simply folding paper creates something unexpected. Similarly, I bent the ends of letters in a sans-serif typeface, where serifs are typically absent, to create "unexpected" serifs.

Working with artificial intelligence was an interesting but initially frustrating experience. AI did not understand typographic terms such as grotesk, stem, or serifs, and the generated designs were often completely unusable.However, after several adjustments to my input, the results pleasantly surprised me. I managed to generate an entire alphabet that closely resembled my original vision, and AI became—at least to some extent—a useful tool in the creative process.Overall, though, when it comes to combining AI with typography, I found the process unnecessarily time-consuming and didn't feel that it offered anything truly new or high-quality.

I wanted to experiment with how the typeface would appear if I removed certain serifs using sharp cuts. The result was letters that looked as though they were missing an arm or a leg—the type appeared cut off and visually unstable. That’s why I decided to "stitch" the serifs back on, like a surgical procedure, restoring the letters to their original form and stability.
