The sharpening of my idea lay in the concept of connection—the serifs themselves linking to the stems, forming an extension of the typeface. The letters feature serifs designed to resemble puzzle pieces fitting together. This design choice expresses the idea that each piece (or letter) is an essential part of a larger whole. The parts without serifs become independent puzzle pieces, just as important as the serifs themselves.

The creation of this poster began with AI as the starting point. After uploading my poster file, the AI generated prompts for me, which I later used in Leonardo to generate the final poster.
The actual prompt was: Create an uppercase alphabet design where each letter has jigsaw puzzle pieces embedded in it. The letters should be bold, black, and partially fragmented by puzzle piece shapes in various colors, such as red, green, blue, yellow, and orange. Arrange the letters in rows, leaving some of the puzzle shapes disconnected from the letters. Use a white background to make the bold colors and black letters stand out, and maintain a clean, minimalistic layout.
Before this project, my opinion on AI was more of a general subconscious impression. Yes, I enjoyed exploring the possibilities of AI and its capabilities, but mainly I focused on its errors and shortcomings. During this project, I not only experimented with image generation, but also with words. I had the prompt generated directly by ChatGPT, and Leonardo.AI created the image export based on that. At this moment, AI seems to me like an excellent tool, and like with any tool, one must learn how to use it effectively.
